Dive into the world of regional cuisine! Together with expert Corina Jaeger-Gadient, you will learn how to make creamy fresh cheese and prepare a fragrant wild herb pesto from seasonal herbs. While the cheese cools, you will learn more about local wild herbs and their uses. End the evening with a cozy tasting of your homemade delicacies – a treat for all the senses!

Day Excursion to Bogs and Plants
Saturday, June 21, 10:15 AM - 3:15 PM, Langwies Train Station
Explore the protected bogs and their plant life on a guided hike to Peisteralp. Under the guidance of Brigitta Schatzmann and Horst Kleinlogel, you will learn everything about the importance of these unique ecosystems. The excursion starts at Langwies Train Station, from where you will begin this approximately five-hour excursion. A shuttle service from the hotel to the meeting point will be organized. If hiking to Peisteralp is not possible due to weather conditions, an alternative route will be offered.

King of the Alps
Sunday, June 22, 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Isla Arosa
Experience the local wildlife up close! Together with Arosa photographer Veit Fritz, you will hike through the alpine landscape, enjoy spectacular views, and learn more about the animal and plant life of the region. Particularly fascinating is the opportunity to observe ibex in their natural habitat. The excursion ends with a relaxed picnic in nature, where you can share your experiences and enjoy the tranquility.

Railway:
In Arosa take the Free local Bus heading to „Prätschli“
Bus Stop „Prätschli“ you’ll find us within 20 yards from the Bus Stop
Car:
Upon entering the town of Arosa you will see a gas station to your left.Sandhubel Garage.
Take the road that veers off to he right,going uphill.You’ll pass small Chalets,the golfcourse,the Hotel Hof Maran,(and dont give up,little forest) and soon you’re at our doorstep.We are below the turnaround at the end of the road.
Airplane:
Airport Zürich Kloten has a train station in the „basement“.Short ride to Zürich Main Station. Then train to Chur.Change to the Rhätien Railway ( Unesco World Heritage 100 Years old, and a absolutely spectacular one hour long ride.)
