Discover how sustainable hospitality is practiced: In the construction of the Valsana Hotel, particular attention was paid to ecological materials, Swiss products, and an innovative energy concept.

During the Green Hotel Tour, you will learn more about the sustainability strategy of the Valsana and the Tschuggen Hotel Group – and visit the heart of the hotel: the ice storage. Christian Meier, the hotel’s chief technician, will explain to you how the sophisticated system works and how it allows for climate-friendly heating and cooling – using waste heat from the kitchen, spa, and supermarket as well as geothermal probes.
