ArosaAkademie «Lebensraum Bergwald» (ABGESAGT)
General Information
Habitat Mountain Forest
Pro Natura Graubünden and the Swiss Ornithological Institute, together with the Arosa Forestry Office, invite you to an excursion into the special forest reserve of Arosa.
The participants will gain exciting insights into the diverse habitats of the mountain forest, its maintenance, and the special significance of this protected area. In the special forest reserve "Schanfigg," experts will demonstrate how the forest is managed and how biodiversity can be specifically promoted even in a commercially used forest.
In addition, there will be many interesting pieces of information about the capercaillie and other grouse that make their home in the mountain forest and find valuable habitats here. During our joint walk through the forest, we may encounter various animals or discover their tracks with a bit of luck.
Advance registration is appreciated.
