General Information
Habitat Mountain Forest
Pro Natura Graubünden and the Swiss Ornithological Institute, together with the Arosa Forest Works, invite you to an excursion in the Special Forest Reserve Arosa.
Participants will gain exciting insights into the diverse habitats of the mountain forest, its care, and the special significance of this protected area. In the Special Forest Reserve "Schanfigg", experts will demonstrate how the forest is managed and how biodiversity can be intentionally promoted even in an economically used forest.
Additionally, there is a wealth of interesting information about the capercaillie and other grouse that call the mountain forest home and find valuable habitats here. During the joint walk through the forest, we may encounter various animals or discover their tracks, with a bit of luck.
