Moonlit Snowshoe Hike in Arosa with Fondue Fun at Prätschalp

The tour is led by Katharina Trachsler, our experienced hiking guide, who accompanies us through the nocturnal landscape with much knowledge and a sense for nature. Once dusk sets in, we meet for our excursion into the Arosa night – accompanied by the silvery light of the moon.

From Maran, we hike along the snowshoe trail into the quiet winter landscape. Along the edge of the forest, we may encounter a chamois enjoying the evening calm, or a snow hare venturing out from its hiding place. Soon, we will reach the Prätschalp.

In the warm room, we are first greeted with mulled wine to warm up, before we enjoy a delicious fondue together. In a convivial atmosphere, by candlelight and in the cozy cabin setting, we savor our dinner. (Of course, there is an alternative for those who are not cheese lovers.)

Refreshed, we make our way back into the cold night. We leisurely ascend to Scheidegg and then descend towards Arosa – accompanied by moonlight and the winter silence. To conclude, our path takes us back over the Eichhörnliweg to Obersee, from where everyone departs for home individually.
