New Brewing Barley Variety for the Graubünden Mountain Area

The Gran Alpin cooperative has reintroduced mountain agriculture in GR in the 1980s. In addition to other types, brewing barley is also grown. The newly bred variety ALPETTA is set to replace the current late-maturing variety QUENCH.

The session will be conducted by Philipp Streckeisen.

Guided Tours Arosa Alpine Garden
As part of Botanica Switzerland, the Arosa Alpine Garden invites you to exciting excursions, which start every Thursday at 2:30 PM at the Arosa Golf bus stop. Traditional crops will be presented, the cultivation and use of which have held special significance in the alpine mountain world for centuries.
