Bergkirchli-Konzert mit Alexander Gil
Born in Zurich in 1997, Alexander Gil developed a close relationship with music at a young age, under the guidance of the renowned Swiss guitarist and educator Daniel Erni.
He received flamenco guitar lessons from masters Claudio Mermoud, Vicente Cortés, and Pepe Habichuela, as well as numerous masterclasses in classical guitar with Leo Brouwer, Rafael Aguirre, Marco Tamayo, Carlo Marchione, David Martínez, Oscar Ghighlia, and Eduardo Egüez.
He studied under Anders Miolin at the Zurich University of the Arts, graduating in 2018 with a Bachelor in Music and obtaining a Master in Music Education in 2020. In 2023, he received his Master's in Guitar after studying with Joaquín Clerch at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf.
Alexander Gil has won several first prizes at the Swiss Competition for Young Musicians and has since been recognized at international competitions. He has collaborated with artists such as Howard Griffiths, Marc Bouchkov, Stefan Keller, Martin Wettstein, Maximilian Vogler, and Jascha von der Goltz.
