Asio is the name of an owl belonging to the family of eagles, which is also the name of the duo. Manuela and Edmauro are members of the music group "Gufo Reale Incanta," a quintet that plays various music genres with a strong connection to Mediterranean folk rhythms. They met in the same group and discovered their shared passion for old chamber music. This was the beginning of their new musical "flight." For the concert at Bergkirchli during the classical festival "canti d’italia," the two have assembled an Italian program.
