Philipp Furrer & das Transatlantik-Ensemble
Philipp Furrer & the Transatlantic Ensemble
Philipp Furrer, along with the top-notch "Transatlantic Ensemble," has set out to carve new paths with his Weissenborn guitar, an acoustic slide guitar played while seated. Far from the usual blues and Hawaiian tunes, instrumental pieces have emerged that create a unique atmosphere, taking listeners on a journey and inviting them to dream: a kind of Swiss world music.
