In this course, Nina Homberger, an experienced photographer with over 15 years of experience, will show you how to create impressive close-ups of mountain flowers. The focus is on the fascinating details of the flora that contribute to biodiversity. Learn more about the most beautiful spots in the region from Nina, who grew up in Arosa, and master both the aesthetic and technical aspects of your photos.
Making Cream Cheese
Friday, June 20, 6:00 - 9:00 PM, Sports and Congress Center
Dive into the world of regional culinary delights! Together with expert Corina Jaeger-Gadient, you'll learn how to make creamy cream cheese and prepare an aromatic wild herb pesto from seasonal herbs. While the cheese cools, you'll discover more about local wild herbs and their uses. End the evening with a cozy tasting of your homemade delicacies - a treat for all senses!
Day Excursion to Moorland and Plants
Saturday, June 21, from 10:15 AM for about 5 hours
Explore the protected moorlands and their plant life on a guided hike to Peisteralp. Led by Brigitta Schatzmann and Horst Kleinlogel, you will learn all about the importance of these unique ecosystems. The excursion starts at Langwies train station, from where you will begin this approximately five-hour trip. A shuttle service from the hotel to the meeting point will be organized. If the hike to Peisteralp is not possible due to weather conditions, an exciting alternative route will be offered.
King of the Alps
Sunday, June 22, 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Isla Arosa
Experience the local wildlife up close! Together with Arosa-based photographer Veit Fritz, you will hike through the Alpine region, enjoy spectacular views, and learn more about the region's animal and plant life. Particularly fascinating is the opportunity to observe ibex in their natural habitat. The excursion ends with a relaxed picnic in the midst of nature, allowing you to share your experiences and enjoy the tranquility.
