Arosa Sounds - Ladunna
Music by women for people. Music from the depths of the heart from above – specifically from the most musical part of the Alps, Romontschia – for all the highs and lows of life: This is ladunna.
Female, young, and yet already equipped with a backpack full of musical experiences. From the shared beginnings in the first Romansh girl band 'Chiara', the project ladunna has matured. Singer-songwriter Chiara Jacomet has since enriched her deep vocal power at the jazz school with a lot of grounding and even more velvet. The award-winning drummer Momo Kawazoe has evolved into an arranger with a knack for electronic sounds and courage for pop – giving Chiara's songs and lyrics drive and an additional dimension with her cheeky, rhythmic musical garments. The contrasting duo complements each other into an unusual sound symbiosis. Catchy yet entirely unique. Drawn directly from the lives of two young women. Sometimes Romansh, sometimes English. Reflective to danceable and, in the most beautiful moments, both at once.
