General Information
With her new album Stories, recorded in New York, young Swiss pianist Manon Mullener takes us on a musical journey inspired by moving accounts from people she has encountered around the world. Each piece of this modern jazz album, shaped by Cuban sounds, tells a unique life story, like that of Zoila, a 95-year-old Cuban grandmother who recalls the perfume shop she ran with her husband in Havana during the 1950s, or Noh, a Mexican taxi driver devoted to the values of the Maya, and Willard, an opera fan from the upscale neighborhoods of New York City. A world tour with 100 concerts will allow the audience to discover these musical stories live, with an energy and depth that promise unforgettable emotions.
