Quartz - the folk music mountain crystal
The folk music ensemble Quartz, consisting of Andrea Küttel (yodel and bass), Florian Gass (Schwyzerörgeli), Emanuel Krucker (hammered dulcimer), and Augustin Martz (violin), formed during their folk music studies in Lucerne. The musicians combine traditional sounds with new ideas and influences from jazz, classical music, and other traditions. Their repertoire primarily consists of colorful original compositions. Their music is like a mountain crystal: it sparkles and glimmers, stimulates the imagination, and allows thoughts to drift beyond the boundaries of everyday life!
