Arosa Sounds - Malika Kaita Afro Jazz Sextett
Hypnotic highlife, cheerful jazz, and infectious Afrobeat rhythms merge together. The Malika Orchestra manages to combine all these styles, this groove, this ecstasy musically and lyrically under one roof. Their music unleashes euphoric dances in every audience while also prompting deep reflection.
T'ua, which means on Farefari Baobab (baobab tree), is a musical and linguistic exploration of one's own roots and their representation. Even though a hint of melancholy sometimes shines through, African joy of life always pulsates with it. With rhythm and groove at the center, surrounded by political or emotional thoughts, the Malika Kaita Orchestra ignites an atmosphere that both touches and excites.
