Walk of approximately 5 km in Lantsch/Lenz
Various avalanches and mudflows repeatedly threatened the meadows and fields, as well as the village of Lantsch itself. Despite progress in the wild stream stabilization, the residents of Lantsch, who are deeply rooted in the Catholic faith, did not only rely on technological advances in the constructions. The shrines are all located in the threatened area. They are simple structures made of masonry with a slab roof. The shrines were dedicated to patron saints.
