Hermann Hesse spent several weeks in Arosa on ski holidays in 1928 and 1929. Just divorced from his second wife Ruth Wenger, Hesse traveled with his new girlfriend and lover, the 15 years younger Ninon Dolbin. They stayed at the Hotel Alpensonne. Ueli Haldimann has researched these stays. And Christian Sprecher reads from the wonderful texts that Hesse wrote about skiing and the Arosa sun.
